I can't see anyone in my User List, what's wrong?
1. Be sure you have files and printer sharing service enabled on your computer. Click on Network in Control Panel, or Network Neighborhood icon on your desktop and select properties. Add -> service -> Files and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks.

2. Try pressing the Lens button to refresh the Network Tree.

3. Add users manually ( Hotkey F4 ). Remember, you must first setup a user group then add users to the group.

4. You must have enabled NetBIOS support on all machine uses LanTalk XP, you can see this in Network properties -> TCP/IP settigns.

5. You must have enabled "Computer Browser" service if you use Windows NT/ Windows 2000/ Windows XP.

I want to distribute my users list
Find the nettree.lnt file on your computer under the LanTalk XP\Users\your login
directory and copy to the same location on the destination computer( s ).
Now fill the edit box ( in system settings below Checkbox "Get shared users list from location" ) with full path to nettree.lnt file , like this:
\\server\shared folder\nettree.lnt

I have problems with running LanTalk XP in Windows 2000 \ Windows NT \ Windows XP
For work with LanTalk XP in this systems, you must disable service "Messenger" and run service : "Computer Browser".

I want to change interface language
Go to LanTalk Options menu, select Interface settings, Find the LanTalk Language box, and select your language.

Error: Can't create the mailslot
Windows NT / Windows 2000 / Windows XP users must disable Messenger in the services control panel.
Windows 95/98/ME users be sure to check for other similar running applications such as Winpopup. LanTalk XP is incompatible with these types of communications software.

Error: Access denied to the Messenger service
LanTalk XP cannot disable the Messenger service in Windows NT / Windows 2000 / Windows XP. You must disable this service manually.

Error: I have errors with ws2-32.dll in Windows 95
You need to update your DLLs in system, because Windows 95 have very old DLLs. Please, download update from Microsoft website
