SSD life measurement toolWe developed ssdready so that you can have an idea, ahead of time, of how long an SSD will last in your computer. It’s better to check under real conditions: everybody’s usage patterns are different and exact predictions are impossible. At the same time, ssdready will tell you what to optimize if it finds too many disk writes.
The program's basic features are free for home users and for user OS versions (Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7). For server operating systems, it's necessary to buy a server license first. The free version will show you how much data was written during the day and then, checking on our site, tell you how long an SSD would work in your case. The paid version of the program will let you learn about all writes on your computer, the programs that make them, how many there are and where they're made to. You start getting forecasts in the very first minutes, and you can keep the data monitoring going for as long as you like. We recommend measuring for a week for the most precise data (the free version only allows for one day). With all of the data in hand, you can even optimize your computer using our advice and save money on SSD replacement. How to use SsdReady? It's easy! The basic features in the free version are enough for an estimate of SSD life. Install ssdready, launch it in the morning and leave it open all day. At the end of the day, click on Estimate ssd life. When you click that button, the program will open a page on our website and show you the approximate lifetime of several SSDs, based on your data. | |||||||||||
