You can send E-mail messages to anybody in the users list in two clicks :
Only select anybody in the users list, click the right mouse button ( call context menu ) and pick the Send E-mail, do not forget to add E-mail to this user.
And you can use hot key Alt+E in main window for compose new E-mail message.
