This action sends a specified message via the network.

This action can only send messages in MS Network to recipients specified with their computer name or workgroup. Such messages can be received with various software. In MS Windows 9x/Me it's the WinPopup program and, and in MS Windows NT/2000/XP, it's the Messenger service. We have also developed the <>LanTalk program that receives such messages (and more). It runs under all versions of Windows and is available at http://www.lantalk.net.

Option	Description
Recipient name	A computer name or a workgroup name you want to send the message to.
Text of the message	The text to be sent. Please note that the message cannot be longer than 420 characters. BackUpTime will notify you if you try to write more.
Alias	Specify a name here or keep the default one.
Description	A brief memo.
